Slessgasbord ~ Patreon Update #24 (18-11-2024)

Oh gosh, I didn't see you there. You see I was busy trying to envisage a novel introduction for a Patreon update and there you arrived making me jump! You really shouldn't wear those fluffy slippers, you know. Mainly because they're mine. This analogy's escaped me, time for the update!

Weary and vaguely sleep-deficient, we find ourselves mid-way through the month of November. So you know what that means: It's November, babay!

People rather seem to have latched on to the disaster trash boi of the Calendar family, and I simply cannot fathom why. Still it's nice to know that they have fans (and fan-art!) before they've even done anything. The only fans they'll need after doing something are the large industrial fans needed to blow all of the smoke out of the building.

So, what else can I show you? What excitement from my past fortnight of productive explorations and constructions can I fling in the direction of your retinas, hmm? Well, uh... nothing, really.

A lot of my time this past couple of weeks has been getting some super special secret sauce ready for the end of the year. I don't want to spoil any surprises (although given that it's nothing too novel you can probably make some educated guesses) but suffice it to say make sure your addresses are up-to-date on Patreon by early December. 😅

To make up for the lack of non-secret work I'll scatter around some recent doodles wot I've shared that, like scatter cushions, can make it feel like I've put more effort into this than I have.

I did take a day out last week to add something very silly to my streams - something I think we all needed given events the day prior - that being the !heckle command. Now you (yes you) can summon Statler and Waldorf from the Muppets to pop in from the side of the screen and heckle me. Why? Uh... seemed like a good idea at the time.

Now super-secret end-of-year shenanigans haven't been alone in being unshowoffable entries in my agenda this past tetradecanight. I've also been slaving away at the digital coal-face of commissions! I'm rather hoping to finish my current charge today because, commissioner's permission pending of course, I'm pretty pleased with how it's turning out. Until then here're some unrelated strim doodles.

Ah yes! Streaming! Golly, that's still happening isn't it? We've passed the point of my grey matter sublimating through my ears by completing / making stop the second Dracula game, having now firmly planted our tiny mouse paws into the surprisingly goopy ground of Resident Evil 4.

Friend games trot along in a slightly less-panicked Valheim. That's slightly less panicked for the players; The frame-rate still feels like it's dealing with some hefty palpitations. Sundays still leave us messing about noodling and doodling to our heart's satisfactations, primarily smooshing our OCs together like highly-contrasting balls of plasticine and staring mesmerised at the resultant whirls of colour.

Morning streams see us working on November's comic which, well, uh, let's just say, ummm, is about 3 comics in one. I never learn, do I? 🥴

Well, I suspect I've sufficiently stretched the scribble quota for this update and as such it's time to scutter off into the undergrowth and get foraging for next time.

Thank you very much for your ever-appreciated support. I'd promise that I'll have more to show next time, but we all know unrefined my organisational skills are. Well, you do. I wrote it down somewhere, but I lost it.

Look after yourselves,
Crispy 💜
