Octobink #0-3

In light of me having to embrace physical media in lieu of a working tablet for two months (the replacement arrived yesterday, yippee) I'm engaging in a little light ink-brush practise by drawing mine and my friends' OCs over the course of October. I have christened this daily-ish challenge with the brilliantly original name Octobink.

I'm posting these to my bluesky, tumblr and ko-fi pages, but thought I might as well include them here. Why am I posting the first 4 together? Well they're made on A6 sheets I cut from a larger A4 sheet, so they're each made in batches of 4. These were all inked together and indeed their sketches still exist in 4 quadrants of an A4 sheet of printer paper. Also I forgot to post them here until today.

A black ink-brush illustration on white paper sits on a purple carpet. The illustration shows the patchwork construct character October leaning back and looking up at the title 'Octobink' above them. Holding a finger to their mouth, they say 'That sounds a b-bit cumbersome'. They are flanked with horizontal black lines of increasing thickness as they descend. The illustration shows a very round and cheerful lizardfolk Durgesh sitting on the floor, tail and legs splayed out, staring happily into the distance with a glass of milk in their hands. The illustration shows the time-travelling Scout surrounded by a black, starry void, their eyes equally star-shaped in a look of wonder. They wear a frog-themed bucket hat, various necklaces and saturn-shaped earrings. A black ink-brush illustration on white paper sits on a purple carpet. The illustration shows a couple, Kay and Jay, leaning their heads into each other's, hands held loosely through entwined fingers in the foreground. They look into each other's eyes with a romantic, borderline schmaltzy, expression.
